My name is Tina. I am the creator of Cerafii Pure Skin Care. I am typical 43 year old with very dry skin. Several years ago while living in the northern Idaho area my skin became very irritated, red and painful. I tried various lotions and serums, both over the counter and specialty products, but it seemed that they simply made my problem worse. My face was so dry and irritated that I could hardly wear makeup. Some times it was so bad that I could not touch my face at all, especially during the cold season.
One winter day I became so fed up that I began using olive oil to moisturize my skin. But olive oil was just to heavy and it seemed to clog the pores very quickly. Although I do not have bad acne I noticed a significant rise in break outs and I quit the olive oil.
Shortly thereafter I came across a bottle of Italian Grape Seed Oil. It was such a lovely color and so light feeling that I began using it all over my body, face and in my baths. It didn't take long to realize what a great base this would be for a true Moisture Serum, so I started my research. In 2006 I came up with the perfect mix of pure oils that work with the body and skin, and I named it Cerafii.
I began using Cerafii regularly and all my skin problems disappeared. My dry patches, red spots and hot spots were gone and I was free to wear makeup again - even in the winter! It didn't take long for my Sister to start asking for Cerafii for herself and we began handing out samples to our 'Girls'. They loved it as much as we did and soon I was creating labels and ordering bottles for the Cerafii Moisture Serum and the Cerafii Lip Serum.
During the summer we moved to the desert and there came a need for a hearty and natural lip protection, along came Cerafii Lip Balm. The men and kids loved it as much as the ladies, who say they cannot live without it.
Then I got a request from a special friend to make a salt scrub. I was not sure how to go about this as I had never used a salt scrub before, so I hit the research again. It wasn't long before we were testing the recipe, perfecting it and packaging Cerafii Salt Scrub. I never knew how supple my dry body could feel after a shower and a dead sea salt scrub!
Last winter came our newest product. We live in a dry and cold area that gets very windy. It seemed that the air was literally pulling the moisture out of my skin and blowing it away. So I created Cerafii Body Lotion to moisturize and protect the skin. The test bottles were gone so fast I could not believe it, seems as though the men are using it after a hard days work outside as well as the ladies.
I have been asked to create an all natural make-up line, but have not had the time to do much testing. Maybe this winter will bring a new product or two to the Cerafii Pure Skin Care line.
